Big diy SENSOR topic

this topic is focussed on detecting ‘something’
what type of input can we use/transmit over a LorAWAN network and how to detect it ?
what to buy and where and how to interface.
hard and software, tips and tricks, pictures and experiments.

Cool topic btw. It could be nice if we could standardize some of those on your list.

The UV Sensor is used for detecting the intensity of incident ultraviolet(UV) radiation. This form of electromagnetic radiation has shorter wavelengths than visible radiation. The UV Sensor is based on the sensor GUVA-S12D which has a wide spectral range of 200nm-400nm. The module outputs electrical signal which varies with the UV intensity, which gives your suggestion if it is a good idea to beach today.
And off course you can set your LoRa ‘use sun blocker !’ alarm …

and more

A lot of different sensors for measuring distance, light, gas, temperature, humidity, PIR, flame sensors and much more.

The flame sensor is nice. I use these in a laser cutter and as soon as a flame is detected the laser and fan are stopped and an alarm will sound. Also, the laser is moved back to homing position to prevent damage to lenses or mirrors.

Could be a nice sensor to check for fire in hot & dry periods.

Too bad the website is only available in Dutch
