Let's build an open, free and community-owned IoT data network for Vilnius.

At this moment we are considering present the success story of The Things Network and find one or two backers along with technical partners to implement first gateways in the city. It will also show what possibilities such network can bring and to find out what services are needed most at this moment. My experience from working on LPWAN idea has revealed possibility to bring connectivity to collecting waste in a smart way as well as to checking meters of residential gas and water. Currently I am also looking for some new ideas and see the Things Network as a valuable possibility for private persons and small businesses.
