The Things Network is on a mission to build an open, global and crowdsourced Internet of Things data network with a new type of wireless network using a technology called LoRaWAN (Long Range Wide Area Network) , owned and operated by its users.
Our ambition is to cover the full country with an open network by the end of 2018. To realize this, CyRIC team has initiated TTN in Nicosia and committed significant resources to bring IoT connectivity to local communities across Cyprus. Starting with Nicosia in March 2016, we are working hard to build the network as a collaborative effort of citizens, companies, governments and universities.
