I’m writing this post as a quick draft that will be extended and eventually turned into a documentation page.

Before You Begin
- Gateways connected to V2 community clusters already route traffic to V3 applications through Packet Broker.
- This means that you don’t have to migrate your gateway to V3 now, you can also wait.
- After your gateway is migrated to V3, traffic received by your gateway will not be routed to V2 applications.
- We ask everyone to coordinate with their local community when they’re going to migrate gateways to V3.
- This would be a good opportunity to update the firmware of your gateway, to switch to Basic Station and to set up remote access / updates / configuration.
1. Migrating a Few Gateways

2. Migrating a Lot of Gateways
If you need to migrate a lot of gateways, you can use the migration tool.
