Introducing TTN-Mapper.org

As for the long discussion about TTN Mapper - Time to shutdown there is no solution up to now. The ttnmapper.org servers as unavailabe for some days now and we see no information on schedule or problems.

So I´ll promote the alternative mapper site TTN-Mapper.org created on the base of ttnmapper.org by md_dw1. THX so far!

TTN-Mapper.org needs much more polishing but the basic stuff is already there.

Its always good to have alternatives with different approches. This keeps things evolving. I on it to have a more open approach running this time.

The good thing: We can have both mappers in parallel! Just add another TTNMapper webhook.

Then edit the webhook and change the baseURL to: https://webhook.ttn-mapper.org/integrations/tts/v3

Thats it. Now data will hit both websites!

I’ve added my trackers, I’m curious

Any plans on reenabling the advanced maps? Coverage display for a single gateway would be very useful. Data per mapping-node was also useful to check, how many gateways could be reached by the mapping node from a given location and the corresponding SNR.

from my side i need the advanced view. maybe it will be a little bit different, but in general this need to be added. i have also some ideas but we have to wait for @md_dw1 for now. he´ s busy.

Thanks for your work and the responsibility to take over the great work of ttnmapper.org!
I think I’m the first one in the Netherlands :face_with_peeking_eye:, but have to walk arround to get noted

Thank you for sharing the service and your work.

I have build my own mapping system -not ready for public use - but I am happy to contribute to all mapping projects.

Two recommendations
a. As I wrote to jpmeijers I would like to filter the results with SF. In fact you don’t display SF at all. I suggest to add this info and filter.
b. You don’t show which gateways catch the signal. I suggest to add lines to gateway(s) that catch the signal.

the telegram TTN DACH channel Telegram: View @ttndach is now also the support chat (english/german) for TTN-Mapper.org

Very nice.

You are missing a few things.

If I am correct you are calling the packetbroker API and reflecting what is online on your page?

Are you taking into account routing policy each tenant have?

What kind of routing policies are you referring to?
