I have a node that transmits GPS location when it moved and then every 20min until no movement is detected, then a last position.
It also sends a heartbeat once a day if no movement were detected for 24 hours.
Every time it send a location I see there is a “Update end device” and “Forward location solver message”, is this purely for NS to recorded the location of the node?
imho TTS CE updates the location of the node which is shown on the map of the console everytime it receives a position.
It is not used for something else.
Think this assessment is correct…TTI team announced the auto update of location in console map a few weeks back… now normal behaviour for a mobile device with location solved I believe…
