Trento

Our mission is to provide Trento (Italy) with a low-cost, wide coverage network for collecting M2M / IoT data, in additions to the many existing initiatives oriented at making Trento a Smart City. Due to the nature of the deployed LoRa technology, this will be a signalling network for notifying issues and problems with different aspects of citizens daily lives and their interactions with various public services.

The campaign started from the enthusiasm of a bunch of researchers part of the OpenIoT team at CREATE-NET, all passionate about IoT and about its great potential for creating new services that simplify our lives.
