Warrington

Our mission is to provide the entire Warrington area & surrounding districts with Internet of Things data connectivity by crowdsourcing the network by its citizens and local companies. With an initial focus on the WA1 & WA4 post code areas with existing and pop-up gateways in the town center, to the east around Woolston, Padgate & Birchwood/M6 area and to the south of the River Mersey and the Manchester Ship Canal, the plan is to scale out to the north towards the Newton-Le-Willows & St.Helens District boundaries, to the south beyond Stockton Heath & Appleton, to the west down stream of the Mersey Valley beyond Penketh, Sankey and perhaps the district boundaries with Widnes, Runcorn & Prescott and upstrean to the east towards Cadishead & Partington up to the Irlam district boundary. Ultimately we would like to bridge the Liverpool & Manchester TTN Communities to provide continuous coverage in the M56, M62, River Mersey/Ship Canal & local rail infrastructure corridors.

Significant coverage tests have already been conducted from the focus areas and a number of pop-up sites in the region.....stay tuned for coverage updates and new gateway/base-station sites in the coming weeks and months.

We are happy to have you join the community. Contact the core team and help us unleash the Internet of Things in Warrington.
