Need help: The Things Kickstarter Gateway from v2 to v3

Hi, everyone.
I added my “The Things Kickstarter Gateway” to v3 with its EUI but it showed as “Disconnected”.
The gateway still shows as “connected(v2)” in the c2 console.

I read from the Migrate Gateways (https://www.thethingsnetwork.org/docs/the-things-stack/migrate-to-v3/migrate-gateways/) and noticed that there seems to be something I need to configure on the physical gateway. But it mentioned several types: “Semtech UDP Packet Forwarder”, “LoRa Basics Station with LNS subprotocol” and “LoRa Basics Station with CUPS subprotocol”.

I’m not sure what type this “The Things Kickstarter Gateway” falls into. And how do I access (can I use a terminal?) and change such configuration on the physical gateway?

I would love to hear your input. Thank you very much.

I’m in the North American region so on v3 the Gateway Server address is automatically set to nam1.cloud.thethings.network

see my findings:

Thank you for the instruction. I’ll try it and report back.

The thread you suggested is helpful. I was able to connect the Kickstarter gateway to v3 console. Thank you.
